3406E/C15 Spacer Plate
Standard thickness spacer plate for 3406E/C15. We recommend using a new spacer plate with each overhaul. Lots of people decide to clean up the old spacer plate and reuse it but this is not a good idea. On the 3406E/C15 liner protrusion is crucial to making the head gasket last as long as the rest of the engine. If your liner protrusions are off just .0015 of an inch and then you use a worn out spacer plate that may be off that same amount we garantee you'll be back into the engine in a very short time. Don't let the cost of a spacer plate keep you from rebuilding the engine the right way. Once and done is cheaper than the time or labor to pull that head off again.
3406E/C15 .003" Undersized Spacer Plate
3406E/C15 .003'' undersized plate is recommended when your liner protrusions are too low to use the standard thickness plate. We use this plate 90% of the time, if we are changing just the head with the engine having several miles on it and we are not replacing liners. Liners tend to sink a couple thousandths after the engine has been built for sometime and this spacer plate will help get your protrusions back within spec.

Fuel/coolant hose update kit
This update kit is designed to get rid of the notorious fuel and water line that rubs the front cover of 3406E engines. If you been around the 3406 series engines much you know how aggravating these two lines are to change! This kit gets rid of the old rubber hoses and upgrades them to pre bent metal lines that fits perfectly in beetween the front cover and valve cover, for years of trouble free service. Kit comes with everything needed to upgrade older fuel/coolant hose group at the front of the head. You may have fittings left over, kit comes with fittings for a couple different engine configurations.
IPD 3406B Enhanced Durability Kit
1 piece aluminum piston to a 2 piece piston design with a steel crown for enhanced durability.
To make this kit work properly in a 3406B on highway engine, the single tube cooling jets need to be upgraded to dual tube cooling jets. As well as, the oil pump pressure spring retainer. See notes below for parts numbers.

Note: There are two different sizes of cooling jets. Use the 166-3650 Piston Cooling Jet and the 111-8606 Special Bolt for a 3/8-16-2A thread hole. Use the 277-3076 Oil Jet Tube As and the 151-5925 Bolt for a 7/16-14-2A thread hole.

IPD 3406C Enhanced Durability Kit

IPD 3406E 1 Piece Steel Piston In-Frame Kit
3406E 2 Piece to 1 Piece Piston Conversion In-Frame Kit
16.6:1 Compression Ratio
This kit replaces the 2 piece articulated piston design to a 1 piece steel piston similar to the piston used in a C15 Accert. The pistons in this kit are more durable than the 2 piece design for applications where cylinder scuffing is more likely to occur. We highly recommend this kit for any rebuild for over the road or high performance applications.
We have used this kit in engines from stock to 1100 hp without a single piston failure.

C15 Accert New Cylinder Head
This is a not a remanufactured head. This head is a new casting along with new valves, valve springs and seats. This product has a proprietary blend of alloys to reduce warping and cracking between valve seats. The deck is thicker with improved cooling passages. We have used this head with success and believe it to be comparable quality to the OEM cylinder head.

C15 accert 18:1cr to 16:1cr inframe kit.
We recommend this kit if you are taking a twin turbo C15 and converting it back to a single turbo engine. We have used this kit in lots of different applications and have had awesome success with it.

C15 BIG BORE KIT
This is the ultimate overhaul kit for your C15 accert!! With no modifications to your block, use your stock Accert rods and these custom cylinder packs to turn your C15 into a C17 engine! These kits have been extensively tested in the harshest conditions before being sold to the public, so that you, the customer can rely on another top quality product from IPD. This kit from us will offer everything you need to do an in-frame on the truck, leaving no room for guesswork when installing this engine kit.
Customers that have installed these kits report that they have had increased fuel milage, increased torque, and a decrease in cooling system temperature. IPD has done some serious improvements to the liners in these kits vs the original equipment. Moving away from the traditional high carbon steel liner and upgrading to a chromoly liner with added molybdenum to prevent liner issues that the C18's were known to have.
This kit requires a piston cooling nozzle 274-8359 to match the piston cooling hole in the bottom of the piston and wrist pin location. If the cooling nozzles are not changed damage may occur.
